❤ My Fro Collection

On a quest to find her own contemporary expression of Afro art, Jedidah has produced her own signature style of art in a range of portraits of black hair in colourful, vibrant and shimmering colours.

“For black women, hair is a portal into our souls” said Tracee Ellis Ross.   Many black women have been on a journey with their hair and so has Jedidah.   Oprah Winfrey admitted that her “own hair journey has been so fraught”.  This range of art is to celebrate the beauty and diversity of afro hair.

The model is originally from Zambia and there are two other paintings featuring the same person.
