Hibiscus and bougainvillea also carry childhood memories for Jedidah. A huge bougainvillea bush grew outside her family home, and as a child she would play house, pretending the unopened hibiscus buds were little “sausages” to feed her dolls. Seeing these flowers again in warmer places brings back those memories, and they have naturally found their way into her artwork.
Each design pairs delicate wine glasses with expressive florals, soft washes of colour and touches of gold. From crisp white wine to deep red, the collection captures those simple moments of slowing down, sharing a drink and enjoying time well spent.
Developed from artwork from Jedidah's Wine, Water & Wakening collection, the coasters bring the colour and painterly detail of the originals into a small, functional piece of art for the home.
Perfect as a thoughtful gift for an art or wine lover, or as a companion to an original painting or print from the collection.
Each ceramic coaster is cork-backed to help protect surfaces, suitable for hot and cold drinks, and presented as a set of four in a gift box.
